I'm a Dunedin based photographer but am absolutely all for getting out and about, whether thats in this country or another! Set me free out in nature, thats where i'm at my happiest! I'll jump barefoot into the ocean right alongside you!

I drink way too much coffee, sing too loud in the car and constantly annoy the father of my children by not changing the toilet roll.

You'll happily find me being the third wheel, tagging right alongside you capturing all that wicked, gooey, quirky, crazy, intimate, teasing, heart stopping love stuff.

So if you think we'll be an awesome fit, flick me a message below and lets all create some wicked memories!

IMAGE Photography and Design

Artistic, emotive imagery documenting your wedding day.

Olivia Turner is a Wanaka photographer with an amazing reputation that sees her shooting weddings around the country, mostly in Otago and Southland.

Kat Hill Photography

I'm a wedding photographer currently living in Dunedin and serving all of Otago and Southland.

I'm married, so I understand the stress and craziness that can be wedding planning.

My goal is to provide couples with beautiful imagery that they will treasure for life, as well as a stress-free experience.

Weddings are honestly one of my favourite things in the world. I love the chill vibes in the morning while you drink champers and brewskies with your closest pals. I love the laughter of the day, I love the love, I love of prides on your dads face as you say your vows, the sneaky tear of your older brother that totally never cries, I love the joining of families, and those huge smiles on your faces as you walk back down that aisle as husband and wife.

I have a documentary style and provide direction where needed. If you are shy in front of the camera, don't worry, I've got you covered!

If you trust me with your milestone, you can be assured that you will receive beautiful images that will stand the test of time and adorn your walls for life. You wont just recieve images, you will receive a legacy, one that can be treasured for generations to come.

If you want to chat more about your wedding, flick me an email and we can catch up for coffee!

Kiwi Captures Photography

I love to climb mountains and take photos in epic places.
With my portrait and documentary style wedding work I to go out and capture real emotion and very natural and candid images.
My love for photography came about when I was travelling for a couple of years. I got to document my travels and started a blog (www.thecuriouskiwi.com)
Arriving home I attended 5 weddings in one summer, bridesmaid at 2!
I discovered I genuinely loved being around people who are in love and completely in the moment.
It creates these magic moments when people are uninhibited and feeling such strong emotions.

My ideal clients would be adventurous (Photo shoot at the top of a mountain or at a waterfall etc...) as I have such a passion for the outdoors and showing off our beautiful country.
I have booked my first destination wedding in France next year and am hoping that I can turn this into a full time job where i get to travel and experience weddings all over the world!

Wedding photography is one of the most important aspects of your big day – these are the moments that will be remembered forever and the photographs are the bit that will remain long after the flowers, the cake and the buzz of the day wears off.

I am a passionate creative who loves photo journalistic and candid imagery of weddings, documenting the love + laughter, capturing the moments in between and telling the story of you and your day!  I love getting to know my couples in the build up the wedding, getting an idea of what's important to them and how they most want to remember their day!

Planning your wedding day is so exciting. But I get it. It can also be quite daunting - There are so many things to plan in what seems like not long at all! Choosing your wedding photographer is a huge part of planning your wedding day - so it’s important to pick the right one! A couple wee tips from me:

1. It’s so important to make sure you and your photographer “click” - no pun intended. The better you and your photographer gel, the more comfortable you will be on your wedding day.

2. Another thing I believe is important when deciding on your wedding photographer is that you love their photography style. Each photographer has their own unique style. Pick the one that resonates with you most.

3. Price - I totally get it. Weddings are expensive! And I know there is a budget to stick to. I guess it comes down to what parts of your day are your biggest priorities. If photos aren’t, thats totally ok! But if they are, spending a little more for tangible memories that you will treasure forever… priceless.

I love capturing the love between two souls. It will always be a privilege to be chosen to capture a wedding day. I’m a down to earth, no frills, easy going kinda gal. I lurrrrve coffee & will work with you to make sure all of your photography needs are sorted for your big day. On your wedding day, you will have my full attention while I aim to capture those “in-between” moments. Natural, candid reactions.

Emily Adamson

New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography Classic Wedding Photographer 2017. Emily Adamson's style leans towards the documentary and photojournalistic approach to Wedding Photography.
Whether it’s amongst stunning scenery, DIY in your backyard, a huge party in a community hall, an intimate elopement or in teepees on the beach, Emily loves to document it as it happens, without uptight posing or forced expressions. It's important to her to capture compelling images, that show the genuine real moments of the day, the landscape and the details that take you right back to how you felt.
